In this episode of Remarkable Tales, join the 37 Griffith University students who were embedded in the Griffith University Commonwealth Games pop-up newsroom for three weeks.

They reported alongside working journalists and Editors from Fairfax in a real-life working newsroom environment.

You’ll hear of the struggles and the incredible highs they experienced producing eight editions and 20,000 copies of The Village Source – the special Athletes Village newspaper.

In addition to the eight Village Source newspapers produced, students also had stories featured on national publications and on Brisbane Times, Sydney Morning Herald, Canberra Times, and also produced more than 10 radio stories for The Wire broadcast around Australia.
